9 Days!
We have now only nine days before we move to Utah. Our ABF truck will be arrriving sometime on Tuesday morning, Aug 29. We are trying to pack and get our stuff ready so that it is a fairly quick process to pack up all the stuff and get us on our way. Or at least have our stuff on its way to Utah. It will take a few days for it to arrive at our house in Utah — the next Tuesday because it is a Labor Day weekend, if we get everything packed up on Tuesday.
I can’t believe the move is so close at hand.
Today in church - several people have said they’ll be able to help us out in packing all of our stuff.
This past week we have been a little bit sick all week. Whether it was Oscar, Marlene, Lily, or me, we have a this killer sore throat and cold. I also had a 2-3 day flu. I had the symptoms of an achy back and neck. Fortunately, I am feeling quite a bit better than I was on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Marlene is great because when I am sick, she is so supportive and helpful for me.
We are pretty excited about the trip and move to Utah. Oscar keeps getting more and more excited about seeing the snow, his grandparents, and cousins. Well the plan is that when we get there to paint several rooms in the house and then when our stuff arrives we’ll start the process of unpacking. Arghhh!! I don’t mind the packing but the unpacking is so boring. Mom and Dad, and Rachel are planning on coming to help us take care of the kids and paint over the Labor Day Weekend.
We also got some new pictures from a ward member who took some pictures of the kids last year sometime. They look good. I will post some pictures on Flickr tonight.
