Easter Weekend 2007 - Brand New Photos
We had a great Easter weekend. Marlene and the kids started the weekend off early by spending time with friends doing an early Easter egg hunt and hanging out with the Nuttalls. We then went to Logan for the rest of the weekend and had a great time with the Muirs. I’ve included some pictures from our visit on Flickr of some of the stuff we did (lots of pictures from Easter - 102 in the photo set).
*We loved using the griddle that Juliette gave to us. Lots of pancakes, bacon (it has been great). Making pancakes is so fast and easy now and fortunately I don’t burn nearly as many.
This week now has been to finish up final papers, tests, and get ready for our trip to see the Schaefer’s in Roseburg. We are excited for a little break from school and work stresses.
Also I’ll be working two days a week in Loa, UT this coming summer. I begin on May 1 and work every Tuesday and Wednesday out in southern Utah. I am excited. We’ll be just outside of Capital Reef National Park with Aspen Acheivement Academy (it is a wilderness therapy program for youth from all over the country). I am pretty excited about it but I know Marlene will miss me for those two days (having the kids all to herself). Hopefully I’ll have some good stories and fun pictures to share with everyone throughout the summer from hikes to beautiful vistas.
Lastly, today is the last day of classes for the semester. We have reading days for the next two days and then finals for the week following that. Fortunately we’ve already taken most of our finals and the last one will be on Friday. Then Saturday we fly out to Oregon. But the sad thing is that today we went to celebrate the end of classes at Del Taco and then on the way back up the hill to BYU campus - our little Ford Escort died on me again. It won’t start so I’m on foot once again. Looks like the money I earn in Loa will be going toward a new vehicle of some sort. No!! Not a monthly payment! I guess now is as good of a time as any if things go as planned in Loa.
