iPhone Sells well on Ebay.
USA Today article states that “Apple calls iPhone launch a success.”
The iPhone — combination iPod, cellphone and pocket Internet device — went on sale at 6 p.m. Friday for $499 and $599, depending on storage.
It didn’t take long for sales to hit eBay (EBAY). As of 4:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, more than 2,600 iPhones sold for an average price of $775.03. I remember the Cisco Systems iPhone that we were giving away for free from Big Planet, a subsidary of Nu Skin Enterprises. It was a time of craziness when I worked for BP. It was fun to work there and I have good memories of the folks over at Nu Skin. I don’t see many of them anymore because it has been so long. But I’ve often wondered what is up with some of the former employess: Matt Hall (my supervisor), Leah Evans (my cubicle neighbor), Beth Hutchinson (we haven’t seen or heard from her in years) as well as others that I don’t recall their names now.
