This is an excellent source for all types of writing questions. They have an superb section for research and citations.

Jerry Seinfeld’s Wife Plagarizing

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

I think this is a pretty silly if not sad state of affairs for us. So does Jerry. If she did, I think I think it is pretty sad. But I think the accusation as Jerry talks about it seems pretty ridiculous.

Here are few entertainment stories on the topic. Entertainment Weekly or MSN Movies.
Order a [...]

Tomorrow I will be going to a presentation given by Dr. Bornstein for faculty in the School of Family Life. I am pretty excited. He is also giving a lecture in the early evening at 5pm at the BYU Varsity Theater for the whole school and is open to the public. It is free and [...]

Detroit Lions 2007 and Barry Sanders

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

One thing that I love is the Detroit Lions. I really do. Even the last 6 years of mediocrity and sloppy play. I still love the silver and blue. I love the history with Barry Sanders. I decided to post something about them. Here are few pictures that I’ve found across the internet that let [...]

MLB: Joe Torre

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

I can’t believe that the Yankees let go over Torre for Ghiradi. They are going to lose and that is all the better for my view on baseball’s storied team. They also lost Alex Rodriguez.

I’m excited by the news that the L.A. Dodgers are courting Joe Torre. I think that would be [...]

MLB: Red Sox Win World Series 2007

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

I don’t follow baseball too often but I have been struck by the Boston Red Sox and I’ve really enjoyed hearing about their story of the Curse of the Bambino and their hatred toward the New York Yankees. These have helped endear this team to me.
I still love the Atlanta Braves, but like I said [...]

Sad Story: Lost Postcard for 64 Years

Monday, October 29th, 2007

Don’t let this happen to you:
I picked this up from FastCompany.com.
 CEO Dad’s Tuesday Tirade….
What a coincidence! I just read this remarkable story in the news about a postcard, sent by a soldier in WWII, finally arriving in the hands of its recipient now, 64 years later.
And then, lo and behold, the postman delivers today [...]

Sunday update: Primary Sacrament Meeting

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

Oscar had his Primary Sacrament meeting today. He was very excited about it. So much that he called and invited Grandma and Grandpa Scoville to come up and see it. They came to the meeting and saw him perform songs and say his part of the program.
Oscar did a great job with his part and [...]

“Lost” Returns in February 2008

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

Marlene and I are excited to have “Lost” return for the fourth season. We have waited anxiously all fall wondering when they were going to be showing it. I think it will be 9pm (MST) time on Wednesday nights. I can’t wait to see what happens with the show.
Of other note: J.J. Abrams is producing [...]
