As I was reading my email, I came across a blurb on my gmail news aggregator from the LA Times. Not that I’m completely shocked but I thought it was interesting that this is considered one of the “most emailed” items from the paper. I don’t personally want to think of Dumbledore as Gay but that is more about my personal frame of reference and that it isn’t an important part of the story for me. I still love the Harry Potter series, although the hype for the 7th book exceeded the actual book itself. I was actually a bit disappointed in the end with the conclusion to the series. I had hoped for something grander and more spectacular. Perhaps with the film release, the images that J.K. Rowling had in mind when writing it will come to fruition but for now I’m content.
