We’ve Arrived

We can say tonight that we’ve indeed arrived at our new home in Orem, UT. We are sleeping here tonight and we have probably 95% of our stuff moved too. We’re happy with boxes and not knowing where everything.
We could not have done this without the wonderful help from neighbors, hometeachers, and ward members that were willing to serve us and help us in this transition to a new home. Thanks to the Provo 3rd ward members. Also thanks to the Lakeview 2nd ward (our new one) for the help on the arriving end of this move.

Marlene said tonight “I’m lonely; I miss our nice and cosy house.” I agree there won’t be anything like 341 N 300 W Provo UT 84601 in our lives. We had so many wonderful friends and we loved the beautiful detail and handwork in this home. We’d have gone for it but the owners indicated they were not interested.

Also Lily and Oscar are going through a stretch to their little minds that we’ll live here now and not in Provo. We know it is going to be difficult for them and us to process the change in wards, home, and friends.
We love it. We’re excited for the adventure

Hey, I haven’t heard anything new on the new house and neighborhood! I hope it’s going well. Adjustment for us is always difficult, I think it will be easier for the kids, but what do I know!

Anyway, was just thinking about you guys and hoping the transition has been easy and you’ve made some good friends already.

PS we want to come and hang with you guys when we come up for Christmas. Do you think you’ll have enough room for us in the basement?
