My birthday passed this year, last Saturday, and I was pleasantly surprised to have a great family/friends dinner at Tucanos, my favorite Brazilian Barbeque restaurant. Marlene invited friends and family to come and celebrate in a surprise dinner. Brandon and Dayna Cahoon came and it was great to see them. My mom came and she [...]

Some say the photo originates from a painting of a daguerreotype from just before his death. [...]

Henry’s Baby Blessing

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

We had a great day yesterday with friends and family. Henry was blessed in church. It was great to have my father, Rodger Scoville, my brother Spencer, my brother-in-law Aaron, and Brother Chris Pelissie assist me as I gave him a name and a blessing.
Those that attended from our family: Grandpa Rodger and Grandma Mary [...]

Mitt Romney and the Anti-Mormon Sentiment

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

I just read on the Deseret News website an article describing some of the voter sentiment about mormons and Mitt Romney. I am amazed at the anti-mormon feeling that can continue to be felt and stated so vocally.
One Newspapers’ report:
USA Today emphasized some of the anti-Mormon sentiment after Super Tuesday?s vote when it wrote: “Many [...]
