In the middle of June, the second team that I was hoping would win the NBA Finals did. The Boston Celtics capped the amazing comeback year with their first NBA title since the mid 1980’s back during the Larry Bird era.
I am happy for Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen and the other players who accomplished [...]

This has been a great week. We loved Conference weekend. There were several talks that really struck me and inspired me. I loved the Priesthood session. I was able to attend with my father, a friend from the ward and a friend of his came along as well. I loved President Uchtdorf, President Eyring, and [...]

After BYU lost in the opening round of the NCAA tourney, I am a little disappointed in their ability to win in big games; they maintain consistent good play until the 2nd half of the last two most important games of the season. I hope the junior Cummard and Plaisted come back for their senior [...]

Many teams that I expected such as the Celtics, the Lakers, the Bulls, the Mavericks, but some surprising teams were above us [...]

What a year! My Detroit Lions start off with a great 6 and 2 start and then lose just about every game after to miss the playoffs again. We need some serious change in Detroit. At times they looked so good, but stink so bad overall. Great teams this year. Pittsburgh was good [...]

I have some good news that comes from my Fantasy Football teams. I had three teams and I took 1st place in my Ward’s Fantasy Football team (ESPN Fantasy Football). I took 2nd place in my two other leagues (Yahoo Fantasy Football). I lost both of those leagues to John (JD) Moore (Nate’s older brother). [...]

Great game by the Utah Jazz last night to beat out the Los Angeles Lakers. I always like seeing Kobe shut down and the Lakers lose. As my childhood NBA team, I have fond memories of the team and love to see them now as they regrown and established themselves as a contender in the [...]
